The Health Innovation Hub invites healthcare students to an in-depth discussion on the complex and collaborative landscape of clinical research. As a cornerstone of modern medicine, clinical trials lead to the discovery of new treatments, refine existing therapies, and raise standards of care for patients. However, carrying out a clinical trial—from conception to implementation—requires the contribution and coordination of multiple stakeholders, each with their own expertise and unique objectives.

This event will bring together medical professionals, representatives from academia, key institutional stakeholders, representatives of companies involved in clinical trials, as well as patient representatives.

Moderated by Dr. Teodor Blidaru, Project Manager of the Hub, the panel will examine the essential role of collaboration within the clinical trials ecosystem. Academic representatives will share perspectives on translating research from theory to practice, while voices from the pharmaceutical industry will discuss the logistical and ethical frameworks necessary to effectively manage large-scale trials. By bringing diverse voices into the conversation, this discussion will explore how partnerships and interdisciplinary approaches can address emerging challenges.
